Welcome to LetterSettle. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our payment reminder letter services. By accessing or using LetterSettle, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
LetterSettle provides professional payment reminder letter services, including letter generation and delivery via email. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.
Pricing & Currency Conversion
Base Pricing
- All pricing is listed and charged in US Dollars (USD)
- One-time letters: $9.99 per letter, with email delivery included
- Professional plan: $29.99 per month for 5 letters (coming soon)
- Business plan: $99.99 per month for 30 letters (coming soon)
Currency Notice
- • All transactions are processed in USD
- • Your bank or payment provider may apply their own exchange rates and international transaction fees if your card is issued in another currency
- • We are not responsible for any additional fees charged by your financial institution
Payment Processing
- All payments are processed securely through Stripe
- Payment is required before letter generation and delivery
- We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods supported by Stripe
- No hidden fees - the price you see is the price you pay (excluding your bank's fees)
Refund Policy
Refund Eligibility
We strive to provide the best service possible. Refunds are available under the following conditions:
- Service Failure: If our system fails to generate or deliver your letter due to a technical error on our part
- Duplicate Charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same service
- Before Delivery: Full refund available if you cancel before the letter is sent
Non-Refundable Situations
- • Letters that have already been sent via email
- • Dissatisfaction with recipient's response or non-payment by debtor
- • Change of mind after letter delivery has commenced
- • Subscription renewals (must cancel before renewal date)
- • Third-party fees (postage, payment processing, bank charges)
Refund Process
- Contact support within 14 days of payment to request a refund
- Refunds are processed within 5-10 business days to your original payment method
- Refund amounts will be in the original currency charged (USD)
- Currency conversion rates for refunds may differ from the original purchase rate
Service Usage Terms
Acceptable Use
- Services must be used for legitimate debt collection purposes only
- You must have a valid legal claim to the debt you're collecting
- Letters must not contain false, misleading, or threatening information
- You are responsible for the accuracy of information provided in letters
- Harassment or abusive use of the service is strictly prohibited
Delivery Methods
- Email: Included with every letter, sent from our official company system
- We provide delivery confirmation but cannot guarantee receipt or response
- More delivery channels may be added later

No Guarantee of Results
While our professional letters have proven effective, we cannot guarantee that you will receive payment or any specific outcome. Success depends on many factors outside our control, including the debtor's financial situation and willingness to pay.
Regional Compliance
You are responsible for ensuring your use of our service complies with local debt collection laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. Our templates are designed to be compliant with major jurisdictions (UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland), but you should consult local legal counsel if you have specific compliance concerns.
Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions automatically renew monthly unless cancelled
- Cancel anytime from your account dashboard - no cancellation fees
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- No refunds for partial months of subscription service
- Unused letters from monthly plans do not roll over to the next month
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to subscribers
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LetterSettle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the service
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the service
- Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted by any third party
- Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content
- The actions or inactions of debtors who receive letters sent through our service
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of LetterSettle after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
